DAY 88 - BEAUFORT DOCKS MARINA
Monday, July 31, 2017 ~ Yesterday after docking we made arrangements for a mechanic to change the generator impeller. While we waited it was a good day to wash Lady V. I worked on her from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon. The mechanic arrived at 10:00 and when the job was complete the generator was spitting out water to cool it. It is working just fine now. Our second electrical mechanic arrived at 4:00 and worked until 7:00 pm trying to diagnose the problem with the starboard engine. He alleviated the batteries and the alternator. They all are working fine. We still cannot figure out why the starboard engine does not charge up while we are underway.
