DAY 75 - JEKYLL HARBOUR MARINA TO KILKENNY MARINA (73.0 mi.) (Mi 684.5 to Mi 614.0)
Tuesday, July 18, 2017 ~ We here up early and did some boat maintenance again waiting or the tides to come up. At 1:00 pm we left the dock when the tides were up 3’. We are zig zagging through the marshes of Georgia going between 15 and 22 knots with good water depths, having to slow down only a few times for fishing boats and boats we are passing. We did a four hour run arriving at the Kilkenny Marina at 5:00 pm. When we arrived here we found out that the restaurant was closed. A crab fisherman offered to give me some crabs for supper. I thanked him but said I don’t know what to do with them. We had sausages instead.
